The Art Plus Award Scheme for Art in Public Places
Six
artists' and five organisations' projects around the South East were announced
in June 2005, which will receive Art Plus Awards totalling £80,000, to
develop ideas for innovative public artworks.
Executive Director, ACE, South East, Felicity Harvest and Paul Lovejoy, South East England Development Agency (SEEDA), Director of Strategy and Sustainability, announced the Development Award Winners for Art Plus, the UK's biggest awards scheme for art in public places.
The Art Plus
Award Scheme for Art in Public Places is a joint initiative by ACE, South
East and SEEDA, which develops skills in the region to commission and
deliver and public art of the highest quality, celebrating the place of
art and artists in improving our environment.
