Mike Blow graduated from the University of Brighton in 1992, with a BEng in Electronic Engineering, and from the University of Sussex in 2004, with an MSc in Evolutionary and Adaptive Systems. He is currently studying for a PhD in Human-Robot Interaction at the University of Hertfordshire. Mike has worked as an electrical engineer, programmer and musician. He is interested in the area between science and art that provides a rich environment for new creative expression, and in the past has explored this territory with several computer and robotic exhibits. Other interests include architecture and design, artificial life, evolutionary systems, computational creativity, aesthetics, nature and music. Apart from a year travelling he has lived in Brighton most of his life and thinks it is probably one of the best places in the world. |
